India's economy

This is with reference to "Can CEOs make the business of the nation their own?" (Business Line, October 24): Perhaps the answer lies in the question itself. They can, provided they have the vision, wisdom and the will. India has emerged a fast growing economy.

The aim is to achieve 8-10 per cent growth. But the challenge is managing the many paradoxes — growth and inclusive growth, financial health and financial depth and so on. It should be possible to solve these by efficient management.

A. Jacob Sahayam
