Invite trouble

A colleague is trying to figure out how to comply with the instruction that came with an invite for an event. The organisers have clearly indicated that entry would be on the basis of the invitation card and hence it should be carried along. The problem is that the invite came via e-mail. The colleague is now contemplating carrying a print out of the invite in case she decides to attend.
