Textiles Web Extras - Financial Performance Nahar Industries net rises 46.6 pc Our Bureau
Mumbai , Oct. 26 Nahar Industrial Enterprises Ltd has reported a 46.61 per cent increase in profit after tax for the quarter ended September 30 at Rs 22.10 crore (Rs 15.07 crore). Revenues have gone up by 35.17 per cent to Rs 231.72 (Rs 171.42 crore). The earnings per share has increased to Rs 6.08 (Rs 4.93). The company is spending Rs 814 crore to lift textile capacities and expects the growth to be maintained after the expansion is over. Shares of the company fell by 1.84 per cent to close at Rs 192.50 on the BSE.
The company expects to open 250 exclusive franchise outlets for its Cotton County brand by March 2007 with the 2010 target being 1,000 outlets across India, he said.
