Ruchi Soya Industries Ltd has reported a 92.6 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 18.69 crore (Rs 9.7 crore) for the quarter ended September 30.

Net sales stood at Rs 1,555.39 crore (Rs 958.46 crore), logging a 62.28 per cent rise.

Ruchi Soya exports soya meals and manufactures edible grade soya flour and textured soya proteins.

Its shares traded at Rs 289, up by Rs 5.30 or 1.87 per cent, on the BSE on Thursday.
