Financial Performance Corporate Results - Hardware Moser Baer Q2 net up at Rs 26 cr Our Bureau
New Delhi , Oct. 27 Moser Baer on Friday reported an increase in its net profit to Rs 25.97 crore for the second quarter ended September 30 against Rs 3.08 crore during the corresponding quarter last fiscal. The company's total income rose to Rs 513.24 crore from Rs 405.08 crore in the same period last year. "This quarter has placed the company at the threshold of normal levels of operating and financial parameters. An improving pricing cycle in CDR, robust growth in DVDR and subdued PC cost environment are the key enablers. These positive trends should gain momentum, aided by soft PC prices, helping in the expansion of EBITDA margins in the subsequent quarters." Moser Baer Executive Director, Mr Ratul Puri, said. During the quarter, the company established Peraround Ltd as its wholly owned subsidiary company in Cyprus for investment into emerging global opportunities.
