The Department of Business Administration, College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, is organising a one-day national conference on `Knowledge powered retail management' on November 1.

Styled Kalpatha '06, it will be the fourth in the annual series and will be held at the Travancore Hall of Technopark, said Mr Eldhose K. Varghese, Co-Coordinator.

The Kalpatha series is dedicated to deliberating on recent trends and issues in management and connect the student community with the corporate world.

Among key speakers are Mr `Kris' Gopalakrishnan, President and COO of Infosys; Mr Amit Mukherjee, CIO of the RPG Group; Mr Anil Kumar C.S., Vice-President (HR) of Reliance Industries; Mr R.R. Nair, Consultant and Senior Advisor to Unilever; Mr Gibson Vedamani, CEO of Retailers Association of India; Prof Sourav Mukherjee, knowledge management expert at IIM, Bangalore; and Mr Arun Narayanan, Global Head (Delivery), US Technology Resources.
