Retailing Corporate Results - Foods & Food Processing States - Andhra Pradesh Heritage Foods to launch pilot stores in November Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Oct. 30 Even as Reliance announced the launch of its retail pilot stores in Hyderabad on Sunday, Heritage Foods has said that it is opening its own pilot stores in November. "We are in advanced stage of launching the pilot store in Hyderabad in the second fortnight of November," Mr V. Nagaraja Naidu, Managing Director of Heritage Foods (India) Ltd , said. "The remaining stores are expected to be opened after that," he said here in a press release. The company reported a total income of Rs 90.25 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2006, as against Rs 77.37 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The net profit showed a decline to Rs 1.90 crore in the quarter from Rs 2.83 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. For the first half, the company showed a total income of Rs 173.80 crore as against Rs 147.43 crore in the corresponding period last year.
