Empire Ind betting on real-estate

Jayanta Mallick

Empire Industries has been hitting upper circuits continuously on the bourses as Dalal Street talked about further developments towards realising its real estate plans.

The stock has gained 152 per cent in the last one month. But traded volume is thin as few are willing to part with the stock expecting huge gains in the short- to medium- term.

The stock finished at Rs 528 with a gain of 5 per cent on Monday.
