BoI corporate banking branch in Hyderabad

The Hyderabad zone of the Bank of India (BoI) would have a corporate banking branch, exclusively catering to the needs of the corporate clientele. The branch would be opened during the current financial year.

BoI also plans to open six new branches in the State during the current year in Anantapur, Nalgonda, Karimnagar, Gachibowli apart from converting the existing extension counters in Tirupathi and Kavali into full fledged branches.

The Hyderabad zone has a specialised retail hub and has performed well in the retail segment registering a business of Rs 406 crore, according to Mr Kolar Subramanyam, Zonal Manager.

The zone has posted impressive performance for the quarter ended September 30.

The deposits stood at Rs 1,347 crore and advances at Rs 1,561 crore. It earned a net profit of Rs 59 crore. For the full year, it is aiming a total business mix of Rs 3,100 crore, he said in a press release here.
