Nucleus Soft net up 57.86 pc

Nucleus Software Exports Ltd has registered a 54.22 per cent increase in its consolidated revenue for the quarter ended September 2006 to reach Rs 55.09 crore against Rs 35.72 crore during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. The company has consolidated its product position with orders worth $6.25 million, according to its Managing Director, Mr Vishnu R. Dusad.

Its net profit after tax rose by 57.86 per cent to Rs 13.86 crore (Rs 8.78 crore).

He said the company had added 10 new customers this quarter taking the total to 134. According to Mr Dusad, its flagship product, FinnOneTM, covered over 70 per cent of the incremental retail business in India, with global financial institutions adopting it for their retail banking solutions. "The company has also made fresh inroads in the SAARC region with two client wins," he added.
