Aviva ties up with six more banks

byline

Aviva said it has tied up with six more banks, all of which have a rural focus. These operate in Maharashtra, Bihar, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Jharkhand.

The bancassurance tie-ups are in addition to the 15 tie-ups with co-operative banks it has across the country.

These, Mr Paterson said, would enable the company to acquire more customers.

Of the six new additions, Dena Gujarat Gramin Bank has the largest number of branches - 130,.

This is followed by Bardhaman Gramin Bank in West Bengal, which has 90 branches.
