EIH Ltd has recorded a higher net profit of Rs 27.46 crore during the three months ended September 30 compared with Rs 8.03 crore in the corresponding period of 2005. The board of directors of the company met on Tuesday to take note of the financial performance of the company for the period July-September 2006. During the period, the total income of EIH stood at Rs 208.09 crore compared with Rs 160.60 crore recorded in July-September 2005. The profit before tax in the second quarter of the current fiscal is Rs 39.12 crore (Rs 12.38 crore).
