Suven Life Sciences Ltd has reported a growth of 47 per cent in revenue and 53 per cent in net profit for the second quarter of current fiscal ended September 2006.

The company posted a turnover of Rs 27.97 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 20.4 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal, while the net profit rose to Rs 2.52 crore (Rs 1.63 crore).

For the first half of the fiscal, the revenue went up by 47 per cent to Rs 53.59 crore (Rs 36.34 crore), while the net profit improved by 52 per cent to Rs 4.57 crore (Rs 3 crore).
