Nod for nine highway projects

The Public Private Partnership Appraisal Committee (PPPAC) met on Wednesday and approved nine highway projects with investment of Rs 4,439 crore under the National Highway Development Programme III A, received from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).

With this, PPPAC has so far approved ten highway projects involving a total investment of more than Rs 5,000 crore and a port sector project, said an official release.

The committee approved the Rs 103-crore port project for setting up of iron ore handling facilities, on BOT basis at the New Mangalore port.
