Pharmaceuticals Hester Pharma Q2 net up 28 pc Our Bureau
Ahmedabad , Nov. 3 The Mehsana-based Hester Pharmaceuticals Ltd's net profit for the second quarter ended September 30 was at Rs 1.37 crore (Rs 1.07 crore), an increase of 28 per cent, according to the company. Negotiations are on with international companies for manufacturing animal vaccines for their international markets even as the company is expanding its capacity. Hester has reported a turnover of Rs 5.57 crore in the second quarter (Rs 4.04 crore), registering an increase in sales by 38 per cent, its CEO and Managing Director, Mr Rajiv Gandhi, said in a release here. The company completed its rights issue and allotted 14,83,200 shares in August, at Rs 70 per share. The enhanced equity capital now stood at Rs 5.19 crore as against Rs 3.71 crore as on June 30 this year. EPI has been registered at Rs 3.11 for the second quarter (on the effective paid-up capital post preferential and rights allotment).
