Iraq crisis

This is with reference to "Cutting the Iraqi Gordian knot — US must think the unthinkable" (Business Line, November 5): The author has come up with a unique solution. Given Iraq's ground realities, every solution will have its own repercussions. Will Saddam Hussein be emboldened by this move? Unlikely. At least, the Iraqis will be able lead normal lives.
