Jeet to launch retail outlets

Jeet (India) Pvt Ltd, an FMCG company, has announced the launch of its retail outlets, Jeet-O, to become operational soon. "We are initially starting off with three stores in Delhi. In the first phase, we are targeting about 25 stores in Delhi by March 2007. In the second phase we are targeting 50 stores by 2008 and a total of 150 by 2010," Mr Mukul Thaliyal, Retail Head, Jeet (India), said. "The retail outlets will be a one-stop shop that will offer fresh and processed spices, pickles, bakery products, pulses, snacks and beverage items," he added.

The company plans to enhance its current product portfolio as well as introduce new products such as milk products, tea and coffee powder, packaged drinks, and jams, pickles and spices. Jeet (India) had clocked a turnover of Rs 15 crore in 2005-06 and is looking at achieving about Rs 100 crore by 2010.
