Bangalore, Nov. 7

Hitachi Data Systems Corporation announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro to increase market share in Small and Midsize Enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore, Malaysia and India.

SMEs in India are on track to cross $70 million on data storage solutions this year, according to analyst group Access Markets International (AMI) Partners. The bulk of these data storage solutions are on direct attached storage (DAS), which has traditionally been the default choice among Indian SMBs.
