FALL IN EARNINGS: A vendor selling cashewnuts in Thrissur, Kerala. Cashew exports during the first half of this fiscal dipped to 58,210 tonnes from 59,112 tonnes last year. Export earnings from sale of cashew kernels, cashew nut shell liquid and allied products dropped to Rs 1,223 crore from Rs 1,331 crore.
