Software States - Kerala Muziris Softech solution for retail traders Our Bureau
Kochi , Nov. 7 Muziris Softech, the Kochi-based IT conglomerate with core focus on healthcare, plantation, retail software and specialised manufacturing solutions, has launched a specialised enterprise software solution for lifestyle retail traders. Muziris Lifestyle IS 2.0 is a specialised solution for large format, multiple location textiles retail outlets, Mr N.S. Sarath, Chief Executive Officer, of the company said. According to him, the dynamics and requirements of large format shops are very different from a small format shop and they get much complex as the number of the large shops increases for a business house. He pointed out that the growth in retail business, following the formation of multi-brand and multi-location stores, has thrown up many challenges such as cost control of business by controlling inventory, merchandising, outsourcing specific sections, controlling human resource etc. It is in this area that the solutions developed by the company come to the assistance of the retailer, he said.
PRODUCT LAUNCH
There are also plans to launch the product in the southern part of the country considering the growth in the retail sector, he added. Muziris has a core team, which focuses on the retail software segment of the market. At present, the company is providing software solutions to various leading retail outlets in Kerala.
