Kanoos to invest Rs 200 crore

The Kochi-based Kanoos Business India Pvt Ltd has proposed to invest around Rs 200 crore in Kerala in the real estate development business over a period of two years.

The group range of portfolio included residential, commercial, retail, entertainment complexes, conventional centres, resorts, hotels etc. The group has already made an investment of Rs 100 crore in Kochi and Palakkad by setting up cinema-cum-commercial complexes.

The new 1,200-seat capacity convention centre set up at West Kochi will be inaugurated on Thursday, Mr Anooj Kader and Dr Sanooj Kader, Directors said. As part of business diversification, it has commenced steel manufacturing in Kuwait and Erbil, Kurdistan.
