Philips Electronics India has launched DVP5150 and DVP5965 players. The Philips DVP5965 comes with HDMI connectivity, which offers a direct connection to transfer both picture and sound digitally. Its DivX Ultra playability enables the consumer to access multiple audio languages, multiple language sub titles and menus. It also allows to view JPEG pictures up to 2 mega pixels on normal television. The Philips DVP5965 is priced at Rs 5,999, while the Philips DVP5150 is priced at Rs 4,999.
