ICFAI meet on banking

ICFAI Business School, Kochi, is conducting a one-day national conference on `Braving New Frontiers in Banking' here at Hotel Avenue Centre on Saturday.

The conference is intended to provide a forum for experts from various reputed banks, professionals and managers of financial institutions, and management students to express and exchange their views on the emerging trends in banking.

SESSIONS

The seminar is divided into three sessions such as retail banking, private banking and IT in banking. New challenges, forms and systems in banking associated with the rise of new economy will be discussed, analysed and evaluated, Mr T.N. Rama Kumar, Event Co-ordinator said.

Since its launch in June 2004, ICFAI Business School in Kochi has been organising one national conference every year on various emerging dimensions of business management.

Ms Radha Unni, Chief General Manager of SBI, Mr A. K. Basu, General Manager of SBT, Mr Cheriyan Varghese, former CMD of Union Bank and Corporation Bank, Mr Padmakumar, former CMD of Federal Bank, Mr K.A. Joseph, MD of Kerala Venture Capital will be the luminaries at the conference.
