Bajaj launches Pulsar in Indonesia

Bajaj Auto Ltd launched its first product in Indonesia, Bajaj Pulsar DTS-i (Digital Twin Spark Ignition), a 180-cc sport motorcycle on Thursday. The launch of Pulsar DTS-i marks the entry of BAL in Indonesia.

According to an official communication, Bajaj Pulsar DTS-i was launched in two variants, cast wheel (CW) and spoke wheel (SW) and will be available in ebony black, wine red, long beach blue and titanium silver colours. The on road price in Jabotabek will be Rp 16.500.000 for CW and Rp 15.000.000 for SW.

Bajaj Auto will give three years/30,000 km warranty for Bajaj Pulsar DTS-i. BAL has appointed main dealers in Jabotabek and East Java in the first phase. By the end of the year, there will be 50 service centres across Java. As a first step to promote Pulsar DTS-i, it will sponsor the Jakarta Motor Show as main sponsors, it noted.

Pulsar DTS-i, launched in the domestic market in 2001, has recorded sales of more than 1.3 million Pulsars in various countries. In India, Pulsar has 60 per cent market share in the 150-cc plus segment.
