Coimbatore, Nov. 9

With over 33 per cent of users preferring online matrimony portal BharatMatrimony.com over others in the same space, it has emerged a leader, according to a study by Juxt Consult. The marriage service portal has entered the Limca Book of Records for facilitating the largest number of marriages in the online matrimony space over the last seven years.

Mr Murugavel Janakiraman, founder and CEO, said "We intend to expand our presence in the global personal space."

The company is planning to open offices in the UK and South-East Asian markets to cater to the Indian diaspora. "We are planning to open up religion/country-based matrimony portals soon."
