NHPC celebrates 32nd Raising Day

It is the Prime Minister's dream to provide power to all villages by 2009 and power to all by 2012 under the Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojana, said Mr S.K. Garg, CMD, NHPC, during NHPC's 32nd Raising Day celebrations.

"Progress of NHPC is being watched at the national level. Employees of NHPC (National Hydroelectric Power Corporation) are working with full dedication and confidence and I am confident that NHPC will achieve the targets set for 10th and 11th Five Year Plans," said Mr R.V. Shahi, Secretary (Power), who was also present at the occasion.
