BEL bags D&B award

Bharat Electronics Ltd has been presented the Dun & Bradstreet India Corporate Award 2006.

The defence PSU was ranked at the top of domestic electrical and electronic equipment companies for the year, a BEL release said.

The Dun & Bradstreet assessment of `India's Top 500 Companies' was made on the basis of companies' total income.

BEL's 2005-06 turnover of Rs 3,536 crore showed a CAGR of 16 per cent during the last five years and 12-13 per cent during the last 10-12 years, the release said.
