Opinion - Letters
Inclusive banking

This is with reference to "For inclusive banking" (Business Line, November 7). The imposition of global standards has helped banks attain a comfortable position. Indeed, the good times do not last long and booming sectors are set to undergo corrective phases, sooner than later.

Consumers always target low-cost credits and high-return investments. Expansion of customer base is the need of the hour. Banks should be alert enough to heed the wake-up call by regulators.
