DS Constructions, Israel Electric pact

Infrastructure firm DS Constructions Ltd has announced it has tied up with Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) to bid for the Centre's ultra mega power projects. The consortium has already submitted the request for qualification for the 4,000-MW Krishnapatnam Project in Andhra Pradesh and plans to bid for six ultra mega power projects in Orissa, Jharkhand, Akaltara in Chhattisgarh, Girye in Maharasthra, Tadri in Karnataka and Goa, a company statement said. IEC will hold a minimum of 26 per cent in the joint venture that will be incorporated subsequent to the projects being awarded, it said.
