Hyderabad , Nov. 15

The fourth edition of Hyderabad 10K and Half Marathon will be held on November 26. The annual run, sponsored by Microsoft, GMR and Qualcomm, is expected to attract thousands of participants, including some celebrities.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Mr Challa Prasad, President of Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), said that the run would help build the brand Hyderabad.

Such events would go a long way in attracting tourists into the country, he said.

BRAND VALUE

Mr G. Vivekanand, Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry (AP), said the enhanced brand value would help the State attract more investments.

Mr Y. Harish Chandra Prasad, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Malaxmi NBFA Ventures Private Limited, said the 10K Run would reflect the diversity of the twin cities.

"People from all walks of life, religion and creed would take part in the run," he said.

Asking the people to take part in huge numbers, they said registrations could be done at post offices, Apollo Pharmacies and eSeva centres.
