Endura in pact with Chinese co for jt venture

Endura Projects and Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, the Hyderabad-based company providing consultancy and EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) services in electrical, electronics and mechanical engineering fields, has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Wuhan Tongrui Industry & Trade Company Ltd of China for floating a joint venture.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, the Endura Chief Executive Officer, Mr T. Ram Kumar, said the joint venture would provide complete solutions to industrial customers in the areas of iron ore pelletisation, coal and biomass gasification, infrastructure projects, electrical transmission and distribution, clean development mechanism projects and waste heat recovery systems. The services would be provided on a turnkey basis, he said.

Stating that the company is currently negotiating with a couple of venture capitalists for roping them in as investors, Mr Ram Kumar said the Mumbai-based Meru Capitals has in principle agreed to invest around Rs 50 crore in the company.

Further, Endura is currently availing itself of the services of Karvy Group for structuring the company and also for syndication of funds. The company also has plans to go public some time next year to raise funds needed for taking up EPC projects, he said.
