Kochi , Nov. 16

The real estate developers in Kerala are logging in to create hi-tech environment in designing flats and residential villas in the State.

This was evident from the new projects announced by the Kochi-based Asset Homes, which has adopted digital homes as its motto in the new 500 apartments and villas to be constructed in different parts of the State.

Addressing a press meet, Mr K.A. Mohammed Saleem, Director, Asset Home, said that the digital homes have most sophisticated features that included bio-metric doors which operates by sensing finger prints, wi-fi network, automated gate operating systems, digital lockers, VOIP phones, camera controlled digital alarm security systems and video door phones.

The flats and villas, which will be constructed in and around Kochi initially, will have facilities of international standards. The total construction cost for these projects is estimated at Rs 125 crore, he said, and added that the project would also include 42 CRG (close relation groups) Homes.

The homes are in the range of Rs 15 lakh to 85 lakh. Kerala's truly digital homes are the speciality of the project, Mr Salim said.

Asset Homes are eco-friendly with eco-features, including most modern waste management systems, rainwater storage, water recycling systems, herbal garden, green space, 3-lane jogging track etc. The homes are constructed with community friendly amenities, including swimming pools, senior citizens lobby, roof garden library, fountains, automatic repellent system, amphitheatre, toddlers park etc.
