Citigroup takes up community work

Over 1,500 Citigroup India employees spread across 35 towns and cities will participate as volunteers in various community initiatives in the country on Saturday, as part of Citigroup's global community day initiative. Citigroup is partnering with leading NGOs in each geographic location.

"This Global Community Day is another initiative towards our commitment of making a difference to the communities in which we do business. At Citigroup we foster volunteerism by encouraging employees to actively engage in community initiatives of their own choice and those supported by Citigroup," Mr Sanjay Nayar, CEO, Citigroup India and Area Head-India, Bangladesh, Nepal & Sri Lanka, said.
