Bangalore, Nov. 18

Bangalore-based Hightemp Furnaces Ltd has set up a manufacturing facility measuring over 30,000 sq. ft. in Nelamangala near Bangalore. The new facility will augment the company's furnace manufacturing capability to meet its automotive OEM (original equipment manufacturer) clients for their requirement of heat treatment furnaces. With this expansion, the company has projected a 40 per cent growth in its turnover from the current Rs 85 crore. Hightemp has six facilities spread over different locations and plans to set up six more heat treatment centres in the coming two years. A joint venture with Dowa Mining Co Ltd of Japan, Hightemp Furnaces has emerged as the single largest commercial heat treatment company, apart from being a furnace builder of international repute. It offers a wide range of services covering atmosphere-controlled furnaces, controlled-atmosphere brazing furnaces, metal heat treatment, high-speed stress relieving and tempering, metal finishing and intensive quench technology.
