AN ELDERLY MAN enjoys the last rays of the day in Kochi. Studies conducted by the Economics and Statistics Department reveal the number of elderly people in the State has increased to 27.86 lakh, of which 14.59 lakh are men and 13.27 lakh women. It was also noted that elderly Christians were generally leading a more comfortable life, compared to their peers in other communities.
