Fortune Select opens for business

Fortune Select Palms, the IT Corridor's first deluxe hotel, opened for business this week.

Mr Vikram Aggarwal of VVT Hotels, who developed this property with an investment of Rs 30 crore, owns the hotel. VVT Hotels has a management, operations and marketing tie up with Fortune Park Hotels, the mid-price subsidiary of ITC Ltd.

Mr R. Ramani, General Manager, Fortune Park Hotels Ltd, said in the first phase, 66 rooms would be operational. All the 129 rooms would be ready by the year-end, he said.

The hotel has seven banquet halls with conferencing facilities and a business centre.

Mr Aggarwal said the rooms have wi-fi connectivity and a data port, to cater to needs of knowledge workers.

The rooms are priced at Rs 6,000 per room night and Rs 7,000 for a clubroom. There is also an inaugural offer of Rs 5,000 per room night. The dollar rate for the room is $125.

The hotel is 17 km from the airport and 19 km from the main railway station.

Fortune Park Hotels now has 26 signed properties, out of which 18 are operational.
