Newgen signs up with Sinosoft

The New-Delhi based Newgen Software Technologies, document management and imaging solutions provider, on Tuesday signed an agreement with LSE-listed Sinosoft (Chinasoft Co Ltd).

Through this agreement, the company is likely to offer licensing rights of its business process management solution software as well as customise it for Sinosoft, with a turnover of $17 million and 28,000 customers within the government.

Newgen, which had recently signed an agreement with Digital China, a sister company of Lenova, is now focussing on the Shanghai market for which it is already in talks with three companies. "We are primarily focussing on verticals such as banking, insurance, government and would also like to consider manufacturing. We are currently looking to partner with few companies in Shanghai and are talking to three companies," said Mr Puneet Jain, Vice-President, Sales and Marketing. Newgen has has localised its software to cater to the Chinese market. The company has invested $250,000 in the Chinese market over the last 12 months and is expected to invest the same amount over the next year.
