Firm price boosts Hindustan Zinc

The stock of Hindustan Zinc gained 6.09 per cent to end at Rs 922.85 on Wednesday. Trading volumes were also at healthy 12.61 lakh shares on the BSE. Firm price of zinc at LME is boosting the share price of the company, say market participants.

Hindustan Zinc, which has been quietly hiking its prices in the second half of the current financial year, may increase the price further. It reported robust financial performance in the second quarter ended September 30.
