SAIL appoints 87 district dealers

Steel Authority of India Ltd has appointed 87 district dealers in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and the Union Territories of Puducherry and the Andaman and Nicobar islands. Another 13 dealers are expected to be appointed shortly to cover every district of southern India, says a press release issued by the Central Marketing Organisation of SAIL here.

Earlier, SAIL held a district dealers meet at Chennai where Mr K.K. Khanna, Director (Commercial), SAIL, expressed the hope that the dealers would function as partners of SAIL and supplement the company's marketing efforts to take its products to the rural areas of each and every district in the southern part of the country. In time, SAIL plans to cover the entire country with an extensive dealer network, adds the release.
