Retailing Khaitan's retail segment foray Our Bureau
The company also recently diversified into the highly competitive electrical segments industry. These include company-launched isolators, distribution boxes, miniature circuit breakers (MCB) and residual current circuit breakers (RCCB). Khaitan Fantasy outlets will stock designer fans ranging from Rs 5,000 to a lakh. With a 15 per cent growth in demand for fans and a boom in the real estate sector as well as the trend of looking for different models, the company is looking to plug the gap in this sector through its retail venture. Khaitan City outlets are set to open within a week, while the first Khaitan Fantasy outlet would open by early January 2007.
