Call rates end lower

Call rates ruled low between 6.1 per cent and 6.2 per cent as against 6.25 and 6.35 per cent on Wednesday. In the first one-day reverse-repo auction under LAF, the RBI received and accepted seven bids for Rs 6,555 crore. There were no repo bids. In the second one-day reverse-repo auction, the RBI accepted and received 24 bids for Rs 16,875 crore. The CBLO market saw 334 trades aggregating to Rs 18,686.10 crore in the 6-6.4 per cent range.
