Marketing Research aMap extends TV viewership ratings coverage Our Bureau
New Delhi , Nov. 24 Audience Measurement Analytics Ltd (aMap), which tracks TV viewership ratings, announced that it has increased its network of metered televisions to 6,000. aMap claims its advantage is being able to give viewership data overnight, using GSM modems attached to televisions and connected to servers at a data centre in Ahmedabad as opposed to conventional methods that collect data weekly. "Communication at the right time to the right kind of audience ensures value for money of each rupee spent," said Mr Raviratan Arora, MD, aMap. The company had also increased its cover, adding Jammu, Guwahati, Jharkhand and Bihar to its existing 28 markets.
