WINTER AHEAD: People buying woollen sweaters and shawls in New Delhi on Sunday. Cold winds spawned by the recent rains and snowfall swept the entire northern region yesterday. The Met Department attributed the sudden onset of the cold wave to `western disturbances' and forecast chilly winds over the next few days.
