Over 1,000 employees of the HSBC Group Service Centre (GSC), sporting Red Ribbons, here have participated in Walkathon 2006, along with their friends and family members, here on Sunday.

The 5-km walk around the Kasu Brahmananda Reddy Park was aimed at collecting funds to support education of the poor children at Madhapur Mandal School. The centre had adopted the school last year and built a new building with infrastructure like laboratory, library and play area, a bank release said.
