Corpn Bank branch wins LIC award

Hyderabad, Nov. 27

Corporation Bank, Personal Banking Branch, Nampally, has become the first public sector bank to earn BIMA Bank award from the Life Insurance Corporation of India, South Central Zone, here. The award is in recognition of the highest insurance premium mobilised by the branch over the last six months. The branch had crossed Rs 50 crore business at the end of September 2006 and earned ISO certification, according to a press release.
