Bengal Tiger Line completes 20 years

Bengal Tiger Line, a common feeder carrier offering services in the Bay of Bengal and South India, has completed 20 years of its operations in the Indian sub-continent.

Mr Joachim von der Heydt, Partner, and Mr Bill Smart, Managing Director, BTL, was present at a function organised by the company's Kochi office to commemorate the occasion.

BTL, which is offering feeder services connecting the transhipment ports of Singapore and Colombo, has over 20 vessels trading in the Indian sub-continent. It is associated with introducing "shuttle connection" concept connecting Indian ports on weekly or twice weekly sailings to the hubs of Colombo, Singapore and Port Kelang.
