Smart noise, no message

How would one react to an SMS press invitation that claimed that the announcement at the meet would "herald a new FDI trend in Indian business. This development will add new players as has happened in real estate and retail. It will open a new channel of investment and promote a new business avenue for Indian business houses."

With big-ticket announcements making news every other day, the invitation was taken very seriously and the press showed up in full strength at the appointed time and venue.
