, The promo for Dubai Shopping Festival in India will be launched from Kerala on Friday. The launch will feature shows by international performers, fire dancers, belly dancers and a performance by Usha Uthup who will sing in English, Hindi, Arabic and Malayalam - encompassing DSF's outlook of `One World - One Family,' according to the organisers.

The occasion will also mark the launch of the official Malayalam portal of DSF titled www.entedsf.com.

The combined 11th and 12th editions of DSF, which will run for 45 days from December 20, 2006 to February 2, 2007 will unveil winnings in gold, cars and cash prizes coupled with entertainment activities spread over the 45-day period.

Since its inception in 1996, DSF has bestowed on its customers 615 kg of gold and over 1,000 high-end cars.

Other features on offer are Dubai Fashion hosting designer wear by top international fashion houses, the Night Souq with leisurely Bargain Night Shopping, Dubai Carnivals, House of Talents, Guinness World Record events, Desert Camp and Safari Adventures, Sports and water shows and Street Performances and Carnivals by international troupes.

The show will also feature food festivals, daily fireworks, heritage and cultural activities, conferences and exhibitions and entertainment shows.

Besides top-notch jewellers and politicians from Kerala, also present on the occasion would be the Managing Director of Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group, Mr Tawhid Abdullah, the Chief Marketing Officer of DSF, Ms Laila Suhail, Director, Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group, Mr Babu John, and Mr Chetan Karani, Joint Managing Director - Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group.
