Karishma ties up with Jaslok for healthcare system

Hyderabad-based Karishma Software will implement a healthcare information system for the core hospital operations and clinical services of Jaslok Hospitals and Research Centre, Mumbai.

As part of the technology transformation strategy, Jaslok has chosen the comprehensive healthcare software, Jeeva of Karishma, a press release from the Software company here said.

Reddington, a leading supply chain service provider for the IT, telecom sector, based in Chennai will supply the computing resources like servers, desktops, switches etc. for the project.

COMPETITIVE EDGE

Mr R. Guru Moorthy, Executive Director of Karishma Software said Jeeva would enable the hospital to effect a business transformation and give a competitive and qualitative edge.

Karishma Software delivers web-enabled and internet-based system. Its solutions cover information systems, telemedicine, rural and community health solutions, healthcare for clinics, diagnostic centers and blood banks, Mr Moorthy said.

`BETTER QUALITY'

Jaslok Hospital, is a multi-speciality trust hospital with 376 beds.

"The quality of our patient engagements would improve substantially through this partnership", said Col Manesh Masand, Director General of the hospital, the release said.
