Mangalore , Nov. 30

New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) will conduct a trade meet and interactive session at Kushalnagar on December 2. A press release said here on Thursday that the purpose of the meet is to apprise coffee exporters of the facilities available at the port and the advantageous position of the port and to sort out issues..

A large number of coffee exporters and mainline container operators are expected to attend the meet.

The commissioning of the Mangalore-Hassan broad gauge railway line for freight traffic, addition of a deep-draught multi-purpose general cargo berth, and other related infrastructure have contributed immensely to the overall growth of the port, the release added.
